| | This is my first normal weekend here in my new apartment. No rush to wake up early, no early morning painting, no trips to Canadian Tire, Ikea, or any store of the like to buy "missing pieces". This morning I slept in! I made coffee, sat down and had a proper breakfest. Now all I'm missing is a paper copy of the weekend Montreal Gazette... but let's not get to picky.
The apartment is looking good, most everything has been unpacked. There's a few paint touch-ups that need to be made and I definately need to get some decor up on the wall - for this I will need a drill.
A little update on life; I've been working an administrative job for an environmental consulting firm about 10-15 minute walking distance from my new place. It's a decent temporary set-up until I find a job more appropriate to my interests. And though much of my work is administrative, I've been learning quite a bit on "Going GREEN". The towels in the kitchen and washroom are made of hemp and we even have a compost container in our staff kitchen.
